Board Exam Saga

July 29, 2014

Collection of photos taken during review days-
probably the hardest part of the Saga.

1. Movable Workspaces and Owning a "spot" in a coffee shop
2. Scheduling "kuno"
3. Reading until you zone out- happened most of the time
4. Sabaw moments- although the selfie was still on the minimal stage of "kasabawan"
5. Food and Drink #outlet
6. Nonsense scribbles #outlet
7. Words of Encouragement #notetoself

13 June 2014
Friday morning. It was raining by the time we were heading to our assigned school. Every meter
Walking down the slightly dark hallway that leads towards a courtyard were our classrooms were located around it. I was laughing inside my head because I imagined it as if  we are going to a Gladiator battle. :))

15 June 2014
More relaxed start but more draining ending. Numbers always suck the life out of me.

Fast forward to 19 June 2014,
Thursday evening.
I was still on my nomad mode that time, no single hint on what's gonna happen.
While browsing Instagram (Thanks to the hostel's fast Wifi, btw), a notif popped up. A friend tagged me on a screenshot showing a list.

159. (Insert someone's name)
160. (Insert my name on it)
161. (Insert another person's name again)
163. (And another person)
164. (And another)

It's the list that declares people who passed the Architecture Board Examination.
Another achievement unlocked!

After 5 years in Architecture School, 2 years of Diversified Experience, 4 months of Ngaragang Review, 2 days of examination and 4 days of waiting game,

Last 20 July 2014, we finally said our oaths as Filipino Architects.

Thank you to all who prayed and believed in me. For those who listened to my hopeless stories- you know who you are. And for my fellow takers who shared the same sentiments. With all our hard work, we all deserved this. :)
(Lakas makaspeech! Pagbigyan na, di ko naman nagawa 'to sa ibang social network platform)

Next Level, Bring it on!

And for the next stage, I'll be bringing this quote with me from Vince Lombardi:

"Unless you try to do something beyond what you have already mastered, you will never grow. Every job is a self portrait of the person who did it, autograph your work with excellence"
